I've known Cheryl now for over 9 years. I met her at a local gym as my personal trainer. I had had other trainers, but right away we hit it off superbly. She was and still is, very positive towards your workout; taking planning your workouts very seriously, considering any issues or concerns you may have. It was at that gym also where I joined her very first challenge which proved very rewarding as well. She keeps each challenge unique, motivating, a learning experience and above all challenging. A picture of the first challenge group remains on her wall to this day. So when Cheryl broke out on her own, it was a no brainer to stay loyal to her and became a steady client. I still go to her as both a client and a participant in her challenges, aka boot camps. One thing she always used to say and still does is to BELIEVE in yourself. She does, I do and you will! Cheryl’s training has enriched our lives. My hubby and I participate in “couples” training. Under Cheryl’s direction and with steady, progressive workouts, we have lifted weights we never thought we could lift, run/walked distances we always avoided and do core exercises that seemed impossible. She constantly adjusts our program to keep it interesting, fun and motivating. And sometimes she adjusts it just because “I don’t want to do that today” (….whine) – what a godsend. Our stamina, strength, balance and flexibility have increased immensely. Cheryl also provides us with nutritional coaching and diet tips that keep our weight in line.
We are in our 60’s, but feel much, much younger. We golf four times a week, garden, spend hours working around our house - and get up the next day - and do it again - without aches and pains. Amazingly, she also encouraged us to do a 5K run – and after training with her (for weeks) we did it…unbelievable.
Cheryl is a trainer who cares – and she’s the driving force behind our healthier lifestyle. Exercise is not my “cup of tea” but Cheryl is such a vibrant, dedicated, fun loving trainer – she makes all hard work seem like fun. We both look forward to our sessions with her.

I have done several challenges with Cheryl and find that she is an awesome personal trainer in that she is always positive, very supportive and she really is genuinely interested in your progress either with weight loss or with your work-outs. she is always ready to answer questions and give you an alternate exercises if for some reason you cannot or should not be doing the exercise she is asking the group to do.
I have been working with Cheryl for the past 4 years and in my first year I lost a total of 16 lbs. To date I have lost 42 lbs. and along with working hard and eating well, I have kept the weight off and kept my body toned and trimmed.

Cheryl quite literally, saved my life.
When I first started going to Cheryl in December 2011, I was overweight and had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My doctor had warned me of all the risks if I continued my lifestyle in the same manner. With Cheryls help and twice weekly training sessions, I've brought my weight down, my cholesterol down, and my blood pressure down. My energy level has increased, my strength and flexibility have increased and I'm now training for a 200+ km bike ride in June 2013. I love working out with Cheryl in the morning.
